We love boarding here! We know our horses are really well cared for, and love that everyone is super friendly and helpful. We have been boarding here for 3 years- as brand new horse owners who jumped right in with an OTTB…. for their 13 year old (not the smartest move! 😅), we had so much to learn — and the trainers have been amazing. We’ve gone from not knowing anything, to having my daughter actually jumping her horse and participating in some competitions and clinics. We’ve learned *a ton* along the way. Their head trainer has a ton of patience with the riders and the horses and somehow shares his confidence so the rider can achieve more than they think they can! 
    I decided to join the fun two years ago and bought a mare- I have been taking lessons from one of the instructors and having an absolute blast! She is so encouraging and breaks things down and explains them in a way that makes it easy for me to understand. 

This barn has become our happy place. 
It’s such a supportive place with people who really care about both the horses and the riders. Couldn’t recommend it more! 5 stars!

POSITIVE WORDS FROM OUR BOARDERS AND CLIENTS 

Finding Northwind farm has been a great experience. As a newcomer, the welcoming atmosphere created by Nelson, Maggie, and all the staff and boarders provides a sense of belonging. The supportive community and expertise of Nelson and Maggie have been particularly invaluable in settling and bringing along a young horse. They are always approachable and willing to share knowledge, which has made a world of difference.
